Over the past 13-years, Tips for Parkinson’s has been tipping it back for Parkinson’s Research and has raised nearly $3 million.  Starting in NYC in 2006 and in Washington, D.C. in 2016, Tips for Parkinson’s is now coming to Austin, Texas!

A unique social event founded upon the idea that fundraising can FUN, Tips for Parkinson's is a guest bartending competition featuring teams of friends and colleagues creatively soliciting tips, donations and support for Parkinson's research.

Founded in 2006 as a gathering of 100 friends at a bar in NYC, just eight years later, Tips welcomed an annual 600+ guests and was the FIRST Team Fox event to collectively raise over $1 million for The Michael J. Fox Foundation. To date, Tips for Parkinson's has since raised over $2M, 100% of which has gone directly to Parkinson's research programs funded by The Michael J. Fox Foundation.

In 2017, Tips for Parkinson's expanded to Washington D.C. where nearly 200 guests came together to raise over $40,000 for Team Fox! Join us as we continue to expand and grow throughout the DC-metro area.

About The Michael J. Fox Foundation + Team Fox

The Michael J. Fox Foundation (MJFF) is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease through an aggressively funded research agenda, and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today. Since 2000, MJFF has funded over $800 million in research grants and initiatives to speed a cure.

Team Fox is the grassroots community fundraising arm of The Michael J. Fox Foundation. Each year, thousands of Team Fox members worldwide transform their passions and interests into unique fundraising events-- like Tips for Parkinson's!- and athletic feats. To date, Team Fox members have collectively raised over $70 million for Parkinson's research. And, thanks to the generous support of an anonymous donor, 100 percent of Team Fox proceeds from events like Tips go straight to the research programs funded by MJFF.
