In Memory of Earnest Goule - Welcome to His Story

Chandler Goule

Chandler Goule

My granddad, Earnest Goule, was as my mother still describes him a true gentlemen and statesmen. Born in 1909, Granddad went to Texas A&M and was class of 1932.

After graduating from Texas A&M he fought in WWII as a captain in the army. He then moved back to the panhandle of Texas. He lived in a small town Stratford, TX.

Stratford was about 35 miles from Dumas, TX where we lived. My granddad was a wheat farmer, cattle rancher, seed salesman and was county agent for over 30 years.

Granddad Goule passed in 1991. I was only 13 years old.

I am raising money on May 9, 2019 for Tips for Parkinsons in memory of my granddad who died from complications from Parkinsons. Though medication and research have advanced so much since his death there is still no cure.

All of my memories of my granddad include watching him suffer from Parkinsons. I remember when I was about 5 or 6 we were eating dinner and his hands began to shake so bad the food fell off his fork. I didn't understand what was going on and my parents. They explained to me that Granddad had a disease that caused the shaking and that it would only get worse.

I AM ASKING FOR YOUR HELP TODAY PLEASE!

Your support by buying a ticket (CLICK ON EVENT ABOVE) or a simple donation to your favorite bartender (ME) will go along way.

The advancement to help those who suffer from this horrible disease needs your help. Please come or donate to push the boundaries and help us get closer to a cure.

An estimated five million people worldwide are living with Parkinson’s disease — the second most common brain disease. In the United States, 60,000 new cases will be diagnosed this year alone.

By supporting me, your gift will make a real difference. In fact, 100 percent of all donations made to Tips for Parkinson's will go directly to The Michael J. Fox Foundation’s high-impact research programs. That means every penny of your support will have maximum impact on our goal: a cure for PD.

Join me in helping to close the gap -- donate today!

Thank you! - Chandler

Thank you for doing this Chandler! My grandfather suffered from Parkinson’s as well and passed when I was young. This is a great cause.
